The Life Cycle of a Desk - Before
The original American Oak veneer desk has had a hard life! The veneer was beginning to bubble in places, with several cup and computer marks visible on the desk tops.
During
The first job is to repair damaged modesty panels, drawers etc... Polishing then commences, with the old veneer having to be completely sanded back, before we can start to repolish the bare veneer.
After
After sanding back, the polisher has added several coats of Jarrah staining, followed by three coats of lacquer. The result is a beautifully finished desk which looks as new.
